Telford and Wrekin Council for Voluntary Service (CVS) has launched its new website to keep service users, funders and stakeholders updated with CVS news, events and changes made across the Telford and Wrekin community. The aim of the website is to communicate the work of Telford CVS to the wider community and local businesses who are committed to making a positive impact on the area.
Debbie Gibbon, Chief Executive officer at Telford and Wrekin CVS, commented, ‘Our new website has been launched to provide a clear understanding about CVS, the different community projects and their impact on the community. It is an organised platform to keep the community members updated with our recent events, activities, but we also hope that it will encourage people to attend our events and take advantage of some of the fantastic projects and support services we have available.
The new website is an excellent platform to access CVS newsletter, success stories, videos, blogs and to find out more about to work carried out by the service, along with providing an opportunity to thank our funders and private sector for their contribution to the social investment through Telford and Wrekin CVS projects.
Mrs Gibbon concluded ‘The more you invest in the community, the stronger the community will be. The stronger a community, the more businesses will thrive and grow. It’s a win, win for everyone within the Telford and Wrekin area.
