Buy a gift voucher and book a place on one of our 2020 daring challenge events, which include walking on fire and being strapped to a plane. By purchasing one, you’ll also be supporting local people affected by breast cancer.
Following on from the amazing interest it received for the Wingwalk challenge, Breast Cancer Haven, Hereford will take to the skies again on Friday 2 October 2020. Do you know someone brave enough to join #TeamHaven on the top wing of a Boeing Stearman biplane? If so, why not purchase a voucher that will kick start their journey.
Alternatively, if you know someone who likes a challenge but prefers to keep their feet firmly on the ground, why not book a place for your loved one on our Firewalk challenge, which takes place on Saturday 29 February at De Koffee Pot in Hereford.
Each event involves fundraising for Breast Cancer Haven, Hereford and the money raised will provide vital services for those affected by breast cancer.
Rachael Manacchini-Godfrey, Community Fundraiser said, “It’s becoming harder and harder to think of a Christmas present that will genuinely surprise. Our challenge events will certainly do that whilst capturing the true spirit of giving. Everyone involved in our wingwalk shared an unforgettable day full of laughter, team support and a genuine sense of achievement. What a perfect gift!”
If a challenge event is not for you, how about purchasing a ‘Support a Breast Cancer Haven Visitor’ gift voucher? Purchasing this voucher will fund a 1:1 therapy of massage, acupuncture or reflexology to help with physical and emotional symptoms and side effects of treatment such as nausea, fatigue and stress. So far this year the centre has helped around 330 local people.
