Rural financial specialists from leading accountancy firm Thorne Widgery have supported the latest Rural Business Advice Day organised by Rural Hub Herefordshire

A team of specialists from the Hereford-based firm recently attended the event, which was held at the Three Counties Hotel in Belmont Road, to provide free advice to the region’s rural business owners.

The free drop in session included one-to-one clinics from Thorne Widgery’s experienced team on a range of topics, including auto-enrolment, wealth planning and online accounting.

A number of rural businesses attended the clinics and organisers from the Herefordshire Rural Hub thanked Thorne Widgery for attending and sponsoring the event.

Kevin Tong, a Director at Thorne Widgery was part of the team who gave advice on the day. He said: “The event was really well attended and those that came definitely left with some useful insight from us and the other businesses that supported this event.

“As a firm we have spent more than seven decades working with farmers and rural businesses and have a good understanding of their requirements.

“This deep understanding of the industry allows us to provide tailored support to a diverse range of companies and individuals so that they are able to focus on running their business.”
