Fresh new restaurant, The Podge and Tin, which was formerly the Fern and Fallow pub, is soon to open in Cannock town centre, creating over 20 jobs.
Brothers, Jess and Raj Bhandal are the two young Directors and entrepreneurs behind the venture and they have invested £200,000 into the business with hopes to create over 20 jobs. Work has just started on the Podge and Tin which will offer a gourmet style menu featuring mainly fish, chicken and beef dishes. The restaurant will be launching in early September, in Cannock.
Dishes on The Podge and Tin’s menu will consist of Great British favourites such as fish and chips, grilled chicken and handmade burgers made from 100% prime British beef which will then be flame grilled to order. The drinks menu will feature some exciting and unusual beers from around the world.
Director, Jess Bhandal, comments: “Fresh, local ingredients are becoming increasingly important so we are excited to be launching a restaurant which celebrates this. We are going for a rustic, organic look and feel for the Podge and Tin’s branding to reflect the simple, fresh ingredients we will be using in our dishes.”
