Darren Cresswell, co-founder of WAE+, will be sharing his expertise and advice on marketplaces and third-party comparison sites at the Internet Retailing Expo 2013 (IRX) on 20th March 2013.
Darren’s presentation will focus on how smaller and start-up ecommerce companies can successfully compete with large online retailers by using third-party comparison sites, such as Kelkoo, Pricerunner or Shopping.com. He will also explore the rise of online marketplaces, pinpoint the most important comparison platforms and provide tips on gaining a listing.
Darren Cresswell is a co-founder of WAE+, an online retailer of consumer electronics, toys, wholesale food and drink, office supplies and more. As Technical Director he is responsible for the maintenance and development of all technical aspects of the WAE+ website and back office IT systems. He has been working in the retail and ecommerce sector for five years.
WAE+ recently reported record figures for December 2012 with over 11,000 customer orders and £1.2 million sales. During its first year of business, the online retailer processed over 35,000 completed orders, with 50 per cent placed in Q4, 2012.
Darren’s presentation will take place in the Advanced Selling Techniques session of IRX 2013, at 2 pm on Wednesday 20th March at the NEC, Birmingham.
