Two successful Shropshire businesses specialising in different areas of website creation are to join together to provide clients with a service set to be second to none.

Verve and Sticky Lizard, both businesses based in Battlefield, Shrewsbury, will combine expertise and become one as they look to provide clients of all shapes and sizes with a complete service.

Verve are a creative team of web and graphic designers specialising in building fully content managed websites and SEO services for businesses while the Sticky Lizard team specialises in eCommerce development.

Julian Smout, of Verve, said the coming together of the two teams create a force to be reckoned with.

He said: “Adding Sticky Lizard’s eCommerce ability and in particular Magento to our portfolio is the cherry on the cake for us and it creates a huge opportunity to drive Verve forward.

“The lead developer at Sticky Lizard, Mark Hambley, will become our technical director and with the graphic design and marketing abilities of the team at Verve we will be able to provide a service that will benefit clients of all shapes and sizes.

“We like to pride ourselves on offering the whole solution, specialist designers for web and print, SEO, copywriting service and eCommerce.

“But eCommerce is one of the most important aspects of the internet to emerge and we wanted a specialist in this field to ensure that the underlying architecture of every site allows visitors to have a wonderful experience.

“Combining with Sticky Lizard not only accesses these specialties but brings them on board in their entirety, which is more than we could have hoped for.”

Verve will include Sticky Lizard from December 2012 and will remain housed at the Rural Enterprise Centre in Battlefield Enterprise Park.
