The Mailbox is taking its wining and dining experience online with the introduction of its brand new Mailbox Cocktails Facebook app.
Due to go live this month (June), the handy app will showcase The Mailbox’s unique and diverse drink offering by highlighting the places in The Mailbox where visitors can go to enjoy their favourite tipple and will provide a useful guide to the trendiest cocktails on offer this season; from a sweet Butterscotch Daiquiri at Bar Epernay to a zesty Caipirinha at Bar Room Bar.
Users will have the chance to win prizes, including £100 to spend on cocktails at The Mailbox, by uploading pictures of themselves enjoying their favourite cocktails to the Facebook app or via Twitter and Instagram by using #Mailboxcocktails hashtag.
The app will launch in time for The Mailbox’s special cocktail tasting event with Bournville College on 14 June, which will offer visitors a fabulous evening of cocktail demonstrations, cocktail making and tasting from a skilled mixologist.
Tarah Hewitt, marketing manager at The Mailbox, said: “The Mailbox has a wide variety of bars and restaurants to choose from, offering everything from classic cocktails to inventive new creations. By introducing our cocktail app, we are creating a brand new interactive way for our customers to enjoy The Mailbox’s offering.”
Home to over 19 of Birmingham’s most stylish restaurants and bars, The Mailbox also has an irresistible choice of delectable dishes from around the world at its sophisticated waterfront dining quarter, including Cote Brasserie, Miller & Carter and Red Peppers. Whether dining out in style or looking for a relaxed al fresco setting, The Mailbox has something to suit every taste.
The special cocktail tasting event will be taking place at The Mailbox on 14 June, 6pm – 8pm.
