Smith & Williamson strengthens its senior team in Birmingham with four promotions and a strategic hire

 

Senior promotions and strategic hire for Smith & Williamson in Birmingham

 

Accountancy, investment management and tax group, Smith & Williamson, has announced four senior promotions and a new appointment in its central Birmingham office following a period of expansion.

Julia Rosenbloom, head of private client tax services in Birmingham, and Ashley Higgs, who specialises in valuing businesses and intangible assets, have been made up to Partner.

Former tax lawyer turned business tax adviser, Patrick Allan, who specialises in corporate structures, mergers and acquisitions and equity incentives, and Dan Morris, who is a personal financial planning consultant  who has a particular interest in assisting owner manager businesses, have both been promoted to Associate Director.

These promotions help to strengthen Smith & Williamson’s offering to private clients and businesses during a period of continuing expansion which has led to the appointment of Amanda Grace. Amanda will head up the local business development function. She joins Smith & Williamson from Birmingham-based law firm Gowling WLG (formally Wragges), bringing with her over 17 years’ business development experience.
