The dedicated area will provide the bank’s new and existing Private Banking, Select and Business customers, with access to all its wealth solutions in one convenient place. It is the second of Santander’s Private Banking lounges to open in the UK and underlines the bank’s commitment to customers in the local community.
The lounge, situated on the first floor of the building, is designed to provide a relaxed and professional space for customers to receive expert advice on all products from specialist staff. Alongside investment and banking advice, customers will also be able to consult with a specialist Mortgage & Protection Advisor.
Santander’s Private Banking, Select and Business banking services are designed to meet the needs of the bank’s higher net worth customers and business owners. Customers can qualify for Santander’s Private Banking Services if they have over £500,000 of savings or an income of £250,000. They can also access tailored solutions including planning, guidance and financing services, through a team of over 40 Private Bankers.
The launch in central Birmingham follows the successful opening of the Piccadilly lounge at the start of the year, and other innovative developments, such as the 123 Business Current Account, which offers cashback to business owners on their annual turnover of up to £300 a year.
