The Three Counties BIG Breakfast will return in 2017 hosted by Harrison Clark Rickerbys, Bruton Knowles and the Three Counties Showground in association this year with the Institute of Directors, West Midlands.
Bruton Knowles Commercial Partner, Angus Taylor, said the popular format gave business people a chance to catch up with the latest thinking across a wide range of different industries.
“We are looking forward to running the Big Breakfast programme with the West Midlands branch of the Institute of Directors for the first time.”
The West Midlands IoD region covers the counties of Staffordshire, Shropshire, Herefordshire, Worcestershire and Warwickshire, as well as the urban areas of Birmingham, Coventry, Solihull and the Black Country and is made up of over 1,600 directors and senior decision makers.
Calum Nisbet, Regional Director of the West Midlands IoD said: “It is a real privilege for the IoD to be involved in this well regarded breakfast series. Business leaders across the UK are facing unprecedented challenges and it is vital that events such as these provide a platform to share best practice and learn from our peers. We look forward to meeting attendees and understanding more about the particular issues businesses are facing in our region.”
Ken Nottage, Chief Executive, Three Counties said: “It is a great pleasure for us to welcome the top business leaders in the region to Three Counties Showground in Malvern – now into its fourth year, the BIG Breakfast is firmly established as an excellent networking forum.”
The Three Counties BIG Breakfast format has proved highly successful with hundreds of business people attracted by this outstanding networking opportunity. The Big Breakfast provides a stage for successful business leaders and entrepreneurs to share the challenges and celebrate the successes of living and working in the Three Counties. Speakers share their insights into the challenges they face and also what makes their organisation the success it is today.
Mark Fabian, partner and head of Commercial Property at Harrison Clark Rickerbys, said: “We are looking forward to launch our fourth year of the Three Counties BIG Breakfasts with our first two guest speakers confirmed.”
The first event on Thursday 30 March features Roger Dale, vice president of UK Sales with Vax – the UK’s best-selling floorcare brand.
Roger will provide an exclusive insight into the challenges Vax faces supplying both traditional and online retailers. The arrival of true pure play competition and the habitualised use of globally connected mobile devices has challenged the dominant traditional retailers and changed the way consumers shop. As a result Vax is having to think differently in terms of channel managing their retail portfolio.
