PKF Cooper Parry appoints four new partners

New Partners

Midlands accountancy and business advisory firm PKF Cooper Parry has hit the ground running in the West Midlands with the appointment of four new partners at its Birmingham office.

The firm, which merged with established West Midlands accountants Clement Keys at the turn of the year, has appointed hugely experienced corporate finance partner Andy Parker, tax partner Ivan Wilcox and audit partners Danny Parker and Paul Rowley.

The new arrivals will work alongside the four former Clement Keys partners Ross Cocker, Joe Bates, Gavin Whitehouse and Simon Atkins and will be based at the firm’s Edgbaston office.

These key appointments will enable PKF Cooper Parry to broaden its reach across the West Midlands and enhance its offering across a number of core areas.

This includes the introduction of a new corporate finance and restructuring team, as well as a wealth management team and IT consultancy.

These latest appointment form part of the firm’s strategy to increase revenues in Birmingham to £15m over the next two years and reinforce its position as the advisor of choice both for privately owned businesses and the not-for-profit sector across both the East and West Midlands.

Commenting on the new appointments, chief executive Ade Cheatham said:

“Following our merger with Clement Keys in January, we are now the largest independent firm in the region and have added a strong team of experienced and passionate partners working out of our Birmingham office.

“The new partners have a huge amount of experience and expertise across a variety of disciplines.

“New and existing clients are set to benefit from the introduction of a number of new service offerings in Birmingham, including wealth management, corporate finance, restructuring and IT consultancy and support services, which were not previously available to them.

“PKF Cooper Parry is the fastest growing top 100 accountancy and business advisory firm in the UK and our aim is to double turnover in the next two years, with the creation of up to 100 new jobs.”

The recent merger with Clement Keys has created a £30m turnover group with a 350 strong workforce spanning the East and West Midlands.

PKF Cooper Parry is one of the largest independent firms of business advisers in the Midlands with an established track record of helping local businesses and private clients in the UK and internationally.
