Paws for thought at new Staffordshire Craft and Enterprise Park

A leading homebuilder is celebrating the opening of the first of its craft units in Sedgley, as a new dog groomer launches its business from Baggeridge Craft and Enterprise Park.

Built by David Wilson Homes as part of the Baggeridge Village development on Brick Kiln Way, the park contains 12 craft units available for local businesses to call home.

The first business to open its doors is Stinky Paws Pet Parlour, which provides dog grooming services. It is ran by Angela Warrington and Clare Pace, who have always dreamed of opening their own groomers since they studied the skill together at Rodbaston College.

Baggeridge Craft and Enterprise Park is located at Baggeridge Country Park, providing beautiful surroundings for the craft units as well as a steady stream of visitors.

Angela said, “Choosing Baggeridge Craft and Enterprise Park was such an easy choice, the country park is buzzing with activity, especially over the summer holidays with lots of visitors and their dogs!

“The new homes also have lots of potential new customers and with a free car park we’re hoping for good footfall and passing trade as the other units are occupied.

“It’s been a very exciting time setting up over the last few weeks and we’re so pleased to be fully up and running soon.”

The new homes at Baggeridge Village are now sold out, however there are a number of craft units still for sale and interested buyers are encouraged to act quickly to secure their place in the Craft and Enterprise Park.

Andrew Dauncey, Project Director at David Wilson Homes, said: “We are delighted to hear that Stinky Paws Pet Parlour is successfully setting up at Baggeridge, and we look forward to seeing their business flourish.

“This is a great opportunity for new businesses to set up shop alongside a beautiful country park, with great potential trade from visitors to the park and our new residents at Baggeridge Village.”
