New senior management team appointed at the Mailbox

Andy Jackson joins Birmingham’s premier shopping, dining, lifestyle and office destination as Estates Director. Jackson brings over 22 years’ experience in the retail sector to his new role at the Mailbox, having previously held positions in centre:mk in Milton Keynes and The Gracechurch Centre in Sutton Coldfield.

As Facilities Manager, Jason Wandless is responsible for the management of security, guest services, maintenance engineering, housekeeping, reception and waste management across the centre. Jason benefits from considerable facilities management and security experience in the healthcare sector.

Mike Atherton has been hired as Operations Manager and is accountable for setting and maintaining the highest standards of operational performance across the estate. Most recently working at Touchwood Solihull, Mike is tasked with identifying and implementing measures to make the Mailbox as safe, secure and sustainable as possible.

The new recruits join David Pardoe, the Head of Marketing, Retail and Tenant Engagement. David’s role has evolved throughout his eleven years at the Mailbox and he is responsible for working with occupiers to assist them in succeeding with their business plans and executing marketing campaigns for the Centre.

The Mailbox is home to a number of exclusive fashion brands including Harvey Nichols’ 45,000 sq ft flagship store, Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein Underwear, BOSS, Emporio Armani, Paul Smith, and Gieves & Hawkes.

Design lovers can benefit from the centre’s extensive interiors offering in the Home at Mailbox section, featuring brands such as Heal’s, MADE.com, BoConcept, Calligaris, Design Quarter and Authentic Furniture. Consolidating this proposition is a range of high quality retailers including Castle Fine Art, Kitchen Gallery SieMatic, Harvey Jones Kitchens, iLite Lighting.

Elsewhere in the centre, guests can also expect to find Ribble Cycle’s flagship showroom, The Wedding Club, Fine & Country, a three-screen boutique Everyman Cinema, Malmaison, AC Hotels and the Mailbox’s popular canalside bars and restaurants.
