New office and hires for Beacon Asset Finance as it expands

The specialist business funding firm Beacon Asset Finance has completed its move into new premises in Rotherwas as the next stage of its 2017/18 growth plans get underway.

Its new office, which it moved into in January after acquiring it in October, is based in the Rural Enterprise Centre, close to the new Skylon Park in Hereford’s high-growth hot spot.

The company’s expanding team will now be based there, with new compliance officer Donna Bourne joining the team this winter and more sales support roles planned for the summer.

Ben Guy, managing director said: “Now’s the right time for us to take on office space which matches our ambitions. Donna’s the first of a number of recruits we’re looking to take on over the next 18 months as we work with more firms to help fund their next investments.

“We’ve see amazing potential in the expansion of Rotherwas for incubating and growing new businesses, and expanding existing businesses, but we’re acutely aware that they all need funding in order to grow. With a base here, we’re on hand to help them get it.”

The move has been timed to coincide with Beacon’s expansion into commercial asset finance. After a decade of success helping agricultural and rural businesses get funding to support growth, it’s now working with manufacturers, hauliers, printers and packaging companies too.
