Shropshire IT solutions company ROCKFORD IT has gained new business in the last 6 months and has expanded its Technical Team to meet service demand, and its Sales and Marketing team to push further growth.
Helen Rayet has been appointed as Service Desk Manager and will have responsibility for overseeing the technical team. In addition to managing customer care Helen monitors Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure Rockford maintains its high standards and exceeds customer expectations.
Prior to joining Rockford IT, Helen was IT Development Manager at Moseley Park School in Wolverhampton.
Helen said, “I’m delighted to have joined Rockford IT as it is a company that places a high priority on service levels and is always looking to improve on what it does for our customers”.
She is joined in the Technical Team by Louise Hood. Louise has been appointed as 2nd Line Support which means that she is often the first person businesses will speak to when they need IT support. Louise has over 20 years of IT support experience, including 19 years at Carillion Plc. She said, “I really enjoy the interaction with customers and the challenge of getting them back to work as quickly as possible.”
Jason Macmanus has been appointed as a Director to head up new business development. Jason joined Rockford IT from Entanet where he was instrumental in driving forward new business growth over a 10-year period. He said, “Rockford is in much the same size as Entanet was when I joined them, and I am very excited by Rockford’s promise and infrastructure, and I plan to achieve similar growth here”.
Jason is joined by Nick Deane who has been appointed Marketing Manager. Nick will have responsibility for developing and implementing a marketing strategy that encompasses all of Rockford IT’s services and their WatchGuard and iCritical products.
Nick has over 20 years sales and marketing experience, including 10 years within a regional marketing agency where he was an Account Director. Nick said “I’m very excited to be joining a company that has such ambitious growth plans”.
Tom Sykes, Rockford IT’s managing director added, “I am delighted we have new quality people joining us. These appointments mark the beginning of the next stage of Rockford’s development, which ultimately I hope will take us to a turnover of £10 million within the next 5 years”
