An expanding Shropshire company has recruited a new director to lead a campaign of further growth within the county and beyond.

Richard Morse has just joined award-winning Pure Telecom, based on Shrewsbury Business Park, as sales director.

With 12 years’ experience in the telecoms industry working for the business division of Carphone Warehouse and more recently as head of mobile business for Daisy plc, Richard’s role is to develop new opportunities for Pure Telecom.

“We have a large client base in Shropshire already but Richard has dynamic plans for growth, meaning that we should have an exciting year ahead,” said Matt Sandford, managing director of Pure Telecom, which specialises in all aspects of the mobile, landline, broadband/fibre, hosted exchange, handset and vehicle-tracking business for SMEs and the small corporate sector.

By offering such a wide range of products and services, the company aims to ensure that clients have one point of contact for all aspects of converged telecoms.

One of Richard’s first tasks is to develop a newly-formed business development team which will mean recruiting new members of staff.

He commented: “This is a very exciting time to be joining Pure Telecom. We have more than 30 years of industry experience behind us and are in an ideal position to go from strength to strength, expanding our client base further into Shropshire, Staffordshire and the West Midlands. I am very much looking forward to the challenge.”

Pure Telecom is a former winner of a Shropshire Chamber of Commerce business award and has received national accolades in recognition of its achievements in the mobile industry.
