Solihull businesses are invited to a free one-off business networking event, featuring over 200 Midlands companies.

The event is being held to celebrate the second anniversary of JC Social Media based in Birmingham.

A successful and fast growing social media business, the company is to also use the networking event to launch a series of online videos – designed to help other small businesses get to grips with the use of Twitter – to generate new business and attract new customers.

The online tutorial series entitled ‘Tweet to the Top’© is being launched by company founder and Managing Director – Birmingham born Jodie Cole.

Jodie told us:
“The event is going to be a great opportunity for free networking in a lovely city centre venue – and the response that we have had so far suggests that we will have over 200 companies attending.”
“We have had a great 2 years and our success has been built on networking, so we wanted to give something back and help other SMEs.”
“Social media offers a series of new engagement, marketing and business development opportunities for businesses and we already provide in-house services for a whole range of companies. “
“Our new online course ‘Tweet to the TOP” is designed to offer another option to those business owners keen to have a go themselves, but not really knowing how to use Twitter effectively. The package is a designed to get them up to speed quickly and also to help them avoid them making embarrassing and costly mistakes.”
“Owners who follow the course will then have a clear idea of how to use Twitter to reach their target audience and engage with them in a more professional way.
‘Tweet to the Top’ is being launched at an invitation only business networking event to be held at the Maple House Training and Conference Centre in Corporation Street Birmingham on 1st August at 4pm – the 2nd anniversary of JC Social Media.”

Anyone interested in attending should visit  or you can visit their web site at, or tweet Jodie
