Mix of experience and potential see BPA Services grow

Staffordshire health and safety company BPA Services Ltd has bolstered its team with three new appointments.

Experienced health and safety consultants Phil Mayer and Simon Hutchinson have joined Stoke-based BPA Services along with trainee health and safety adviser, Euan McRobie.

Phil will combine work at BPA Services with a part time position as Health and Safety Officer at Port Vale Football Club.

Meanwhile Euan has combined health and safety studies with work as a retained fireman based at Eccleshall.

BPA Services Director, Darren Bedson said: “Both Phil and Simon have industry experience and will support me as we advise our expanding clientele across the UK.

“We are also delighted to give Euan a chance of a career in health and safety. On meeting Euan, for the first time, we were impressed that he was a self-starter. Euan wanted a health and safety role and has begun his training while working part time for Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service.

“We have a philosophy of staff development through training and on the job experience. Euan will be given the opportunity to move through the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IoSH) training programmes.

Darren is among an elite group in the industry to be recognised as a Chartered Fellow of IOSH (the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health).

BPA has clients throughout the UK and locally works with organisations including ADM Services and Stafford and Rural Homes.

The company is jointly run by Darren and Finance Director Vicky Milward.
