Midlands IT specialist is on lookout for ‘Sales Stars’

A Midlands-based IT specialist is launching an innovative new graduate academy and recruitment scheme in a bid to find its ‘Sales Stars’ of tomorrow.

Networks First employs over 100 staff, but is now on the lookout for four enthusiastic new recruits to join the exciting scheme and spearhead its future projects.

One of the UK’s leading suppliers of network services for converged infrastructures, Networks First has introduced the Rising Star Programme at its Redditch base as it bids to streamline its search for the next Sales Stars.

For the selected recruits, the scheme will deliver a committed training schedule followed by an introduction into account management in which they will take on a sales target and have the opportunity to earn commission.

Networks First – which has 20 years’ operating experience – is hugely committed to investing in new talent, believing it to be critical to its future success, and provides an attractive benefits package to motivate its hard-working staff along the way.

However, only the most dedicated will be invited to enrol in the programme, which will draw on recruits’ ability to rise to the most mentally stimulating and creative challenges.

New graduates require a 2.1 degree or equivalent – but more importantly, Networks First is looking for evidence of key assets, including a hunger to succeed in sales, and passion to achieve.

On their first day, the new Rising Stars will be introduced to the business and will kickstart six months of training that will ensure they have the necessary knowledge, skills and ability to take on their own accounts.

They’ll be tested along the way – challenging their ability to succeed in such areas as presentations and data input – ensuring that recruits will develop at pace in the industry.

Sales Academy Manager Kasia Murphy said: “Working at Networks First is a highly challenging yet rewarding experience, where the personal development and satisfaction of staff is a top priority.

“The new recruits will have a structured training programme to ensure they get the right support from us to succeed and attain relevant qualifications.

“If they prove themselves they could go far. Indeed, I’m a perfect example of someone who has worked their way up through the business – and there are numerous others who have followed a similar career path%
