Award-winning communications agency, McCann Birmingham, has made two new appointments to its ‘360’ account handling team, following a string of recent new client-wins which see the Solihull-based division continue to grow.
David Coleman joins as a Senior Account Director and will responsible for Brand, Retail and Partner activity for Vauxhall Motors, while James Greed will join the Triumph Motorcycles team as a Senior Account Manager.
David arrives at McCann from Kitcatt Nohr Digitas, where he was responsible for delivering the hugely successful Waitrose and NS&I activity. As an integrated marketer, David brings with him a wealth of experience delivering cross-channel campaigns for some of the country’s biggest brands and household names. He will split his time across the Birmingham and Luton McCann offices.
David comments: “McCann has such a fantastic reputation for delivering creative and memorable campaigns for its impressive portfolio of clients. When the opportunity arose to become part of the agency, I jumped at it. I am particularly excited to be working on such a high profile account as Vauxhall and being part of this hugely successful communications house.”
A keen biker, James joins McCann from Nottingham-based Studio Output and is eager to bring his wealth of motorcycle experience to the Triumph team, after having previously worked with Yamaha Motor Europe as well as managing bike launches, press days and photo-shoots.
He has additionally worked across major brands including BBC, HMV and Boots to name a few and adds: “Triumph is such an iconic British brand with so many opportunities; I’m really excited to get stuck in.”
David and James’ appointments come off the back of the agency’s expansion of its client portfolio, following recent wins including James Villas and Vonage.
Paul Dean, managing partner at McCann, explains: “This is a really exciting time for everyone as we welcome new clients and expand our team with new talent. David and James bring with them a wealth of experience and expertise to further enhance our 360 provision.”
