Hilton Garden Inn has launched its newly transformed hotel in Birmingham. Hilton Garden Inn Birmingham Brindleyplace, which was formerly a Mint Hotel, has undergone a major refurbishment and has now been officially unveiled.

Launching in Birmingham for the first time, Hilton Garden Inn is an award-winning, mid-priced brand for business and leisure travelers. Each of the 238 guest rooms of the newly-branded Birmingham hotel have been refurbished and feature floor-to-ceiling windows, an ergonomic Herman Miller desk chair, complimentary wireless internet access, Apple iMac computer and fridge.

Downstairs, the hotel lobby now has the addition of the brand’s trademark Pavilion Pantry – a 24-hour shop selling soft drinks, snacks and ready-to-cook pizzas and meals. The Birmingham hotel benefits from a new business centre offering complimentary remote printing capabilities, meeting space for up to 120 people in its four flexible conference rooms and the latest audio-visual technology. The hotel also has a new and larger 24-hour fitness room with state-of-the-art equipment. The hotel’s food and beverage offering includes continental-style brassiere City Café which has been renovated and has views over the city from its terrace, open to both hotel guests and non-residents and serving the brand’s signature breakfast buffet.

Stephen Cresswell, General Manager of Hilton Garden Inn Birmingham Brindleyplace, said, “The hotel has undergone a significant refurbishment in its transformation to the Hilton Garden Inn brand. The hotel offers a unique mix of features for business travellers and leisure visitors from our new beds, round-the-clock business centre services to the Pavilion Pantry shop and fresh breakfast with our signature waffles. The investment in introducing the new brand to the city has already been well received and we are proud to officially launch as Hilton Garden Inn to Birmingham. We have a fantastic central location in the city and with the new elements of our brand, look forward to introducing it to our guests this year.”

Hilton Garden Inn Birmingham Brindleyplace is located in the heart of the city centre within close proximity to the National Indoor Arena, International Convention Centre and Symphony Hall. The transformation of the former Mint hotel is part of a wider Hilton Garden Inn portfolio expansion which also includes new openings in Glasgow and Bristol.
