Lime Restaurant, based in Nuthall, Nottingham attended the third annual English Curry Awards on Monday 2 September at the Salford Stadium in Manchester. They were nominated for the award of Best Indian Restaurant in the East Midlands.
The competition, which saw over 7,000 nominations from across the UK, had been meticulously sifted through to reveal this year’s curry-loving finalists.
Judges visited the individual restaurants and takeaways to decide their final verdict.
There were thirteen categories on the night and Lime Restaurant were named as finalists for the Best Restaurant in the East Midlands, alongside The Curry Lounge and Shalimar.
Lime will enter its fifth year this October and has enjoyed residency in the top 10 indian restaurants for Nottingham on trip advisor for some time, and also Runner up Evening Post Indian Restaurant of the Year 2012.
This latest award places them firmly on the map with well deserved recognition for their outstanding food and service.
