Apex Ecommerce has been brought on-board to support its ecommerce strategy including a contract to migrate its current website platform.
The family-based brand has been producing shoes since 1886 and is now sold in more than 40 countries across the world. Now in its fourth generation, Josef Seibel currently boosts 727 stockists across the UK and Ireland alone. Its signature mix of comfort, style and value has also earned it the moniker of The European Comfort Shoe.
Martin Ingram, managing director of Josef Seibel, said: “We’re passionate about producing shoes that offer the highest level of style & comfort for our customers and we wanted to ensure that these principles translated to the online experience. Apex Ecommerce impressed us with their insight and knowledge and we’re looking forward to them helping us take the website platform to the next level.”
Apex Ecommerce founder and CEO, Chris Thomas said: “We’re thrilled to be working alongside such a prestigious brand as Josef Seibel. It’s a brand known for its high-quality product and global reach and we’re excited to ensure their ecommerce presence reflects that global standing.”
This partnership furthers Apex Ecommerce’s portfolio within the shoe and footwear industry, with founder and MD Chris having previously headed up online footwear retailer, Cloggs.co.uk for 17 years. This latest win follows a hat-trick of client contracts confirmed for Apex Ecommerce at the end of last year, helping the company increase its turnover by 80%.
