On Friday 7th December The Donna Louise is holding its third Christmas Jumper Day and is calling on local businesses, schools, clubs and community groups to get involved.
Justine Trumper, Head of Programmes at The Donna Louise, explained, “Last year we had a fantastic number of people taking part and, with everyone doing their bit, we raised a phenomenal £29,293 to make every moment count for local children and young people with life limiting conditions.
“It would mean so much to the families who rely on The Donna Louise if local businesses, schools, brownie and scouts packs, and other community groups would take part in this year’s event. We’ve chosen Friday 7th December as the official date, but of course you can do it on any day you choose.”
The premise is very simple, pull on a Christmas jumper, encourage staff, colleagues and pupils to do the same, and send your donations to The Donna Louise when you’re done.
We have a great Festive Fundraising pack which is available now at: www.thedonnalouise.org/christmas and is full of helpful hints and tips to make your Christmas jumper day a cracking success. For more information contact The Donna Louise Fundraising team at: Christmas@thedonnalouse.org.
