Harrison Clark Solicitors celebrated further growth and success in style at the official opening of its new Ross-on-Wye offices last week.

Town Mayor, Councillor David Ravenscroft, and his wife, Mayoress Doreen Ravenscroft, attended the drinks party along with 200 other key town figures, residents and business people who joined staff and partners of the leading regional law firm at a special event on February 22.

Jonathan Brew, Harrison Clark’s senior partner, together with Keith Shawcross, of the Harrison Clark Shawcross Ross-on-Wye office, gave the opening address, welcoming guests at the Royal Hotel, Royal Parade.

Vice President of the Hereford & Worcester Chamber of Commerce, Ray Stone, then spoke of his wish to build on the opportunities for business growth and referral, fostered through this opportunity for local business owners and managers to get together.

Mr Stone said: “I am delighted to see so many local businesses come together to celebrate the success of this long standing local solicitors’ firm. Hereford & Worcester Chamber of Commerce would like to further support businesses and encourage them to develop cross-referral opportunities, so helping boost the local economy and create work opportunities in the local community.”

Jonathan Brew added: “Both Harrison Clark and Shawcross & Co. have a similar ethos and complementary skills. With the official opening of our Ross-on-Wye office, together with the opening of our Hereford office on 5th March, Harrison Clark will be able to provide an even better service to our Herefordshire clients.

“Together we will also be able to service existing and new clients across an even wider geographical area, with strengthened capabilities.”

After drinks and canapés the guests took the short walk to the High Street for a first look at the refurbished Harrison Clark Shawcross offices.

The expansion of Harrison Clark Solicitors saw it merge with Herefordshire-based Shawcross and Co solicitors in July last year, expanding the breadth and depth of City-quality legal advice available to local individuals and businesses in both Ross and Hereford.

Harrison Clark is a leading law firm providing a complete spectrum of City-quality legal services to business and private clients across the south Midlands and M5 corridor. The long established firm has a total of 220 staff and partners based in Worcester, Cheltenham, Hereford and Ross-on-Wye, as well as serviced offices in central London and Birmingham. Harrison Clark’s work in all aspects of law is nationally and internationally recognised. The firm has been a member of MSI Global Alliance, one of the world’s leading international legal and accountancy associations, since 2007 and in 2011 Harrison Clark was again recognised for the national quality of its work through a listing in the prestigious Legal 500 and Chamber and Partners lists of the major firms in England and Wales.
