A Worcestershire Public Relations company has beaten off dozens of competitors to win a contract with a leading National Care Home Group.

GD PR & Media were selected partly for their knowledge and experience of working within the care sector but they also impressed with their flexible, efficient and creative approach.

The team will manage local and sectoral media relations for the Caring Homes Group. They will be working closely with the in-house marketing team to promote and highlight the excellence achieved throughout the group of over 65 Care Homes across the country.

Emma Charlton, Marketing Director for the Caring homes Group commented:

“GD PR & Media have demonstrated clear knowledge, experience and results within this sector so we are very pleased to be working with them and look forward to a successful partnership.”

Caring Homes was founded in 1994 by Mother and Son team Helena and Paul Jeffery. Since then the Group has grown into one of the largest and most respected independent providers of care for elderly people in the UK, providing residential, nursing and specialist dementia care services for around 3,000 people in over 65 homes.

Gillian Davies and David Huckerby, Directors of GD PR & Media Ltd confirmed:

“We are delighted to be working with such an established and respected Care provider.  The Management team has a clear ethos on standards of care which we as a company share. We are thrilled that our growing reputation is helping us to work with some of the leading names within the sector.”

The win signifies the fast-growing reputation the company has developed within the Care sector, with clients including a national Domiciliary Care provider and a Midlands-based Nursing Agency. Since rebranding just six months ago, GD PR & Media now looks after a number of local and national companies across a wide range of markets including Health & Social Care, Recruitment and Health & Fitness.
