Fusion drives forward automotive portfolio

Birmingham based Fusion Building Consultancy is expanding its automotive portfolio, working on a new £5 million Audi dealership in Swindon and projects worth £5.5 million with Skoda, VW and Land Rover.

Fusion’s resident motor trade consultant, Andy Nock, has also just secured a further Project Management and QS role for a new £4.75 million flagship Audi dealership in Oxford for the VW Group and another in Newcastle upon Tyne worth £4.5 million direct with Benfield Motor Group, with whom 2 further projects are being considered.

The new projects come on the back of the completion of a £4 million Audi dealership in Bristol. The 37,000 sq ft Cribbs Causeway scheme in Bristol off junction 17 of the M5, is one of the largest Audi dealerships in the UK. It houses a 19 car showroom, 60 approved used cars and a 23 bay workshop.

Andy Nock said: “The VW Group has had the largest gains out of all major carmakers with Audi and VW recording record sales in the first quarter of 2012. Having worked with motor trade clients for some 15 years we have strong relationships and contacts within the industry, enabling us to capitalise on the opportunities presented.”

Fusion is also expanding its client base within the same sector, assisting specialist lighting supplier to the car industry, Artimedes, who are having a major refurbishment of its flagship showroom in Great Russell Street, next to the British Museum. Andy has a combined Project Manager and QS role.
