Frazier’s Wine Merchants to launch new £500,000 ‘Wine Studio’

William Frazier, Managing Director at Frazier's Wine MerchantsFrazier’s Wine Merchants, a family run local online wine specialists, will be launching a ‘Wine Studio’ offering wine tastings and wine events within the Frazier’s Head Office based in Solihull, for both trade customers and wine lovers.

Alongside professional wine storage, other specialist wines will be on display and there will be regular themes to the tastings and events. Frazier’s will be hosting professional wine courses and working with existing suppliers and customers to create and organise wine related events. The family run Wine Merchants will also be extending their opening hours to the weekend.

Plans include over £500,000 of investment with several thousand having already been invested in the preparations for the new Wine Studio. The expansion has created two new full time jobs already this year before the wine studio is even launched, with hopes to employ more staff once it is operating.

William Frazier, Managing Director at Frazier’s Wine Merchants, estimates that as well as creating an exciting place for wine lovers to come and learn about and enjoy some great quality wines, the Wine Studio is estimated to double turnover in the two years following its launch.

The project has been three years in planning with directors at Frazier’s currently perfecting the Wine Studio and how it will be run, and hoping to have it launched by summer of 2016.

William Frazier comments: “Our ethos is to ‘Buy Well, Sell Well and Educate’ and we hope that the Wine Studio will serve to educate our trade customers and wine enthusiasts. We have a series of special events planned for the launch including dinners for our long-time customers and friends, and an official launch event where Frazier’s will be announcing something special that we are doing for local charities both now and in the future. We are very much looking forward to next summer and to hopefully providing an exciting new service for wine lovers.”
