Easy Bathrooms, which has a store in Erdington, has helped to create a calming, comfortable space for families at local charity, John Taylor Hospice.

The showroom donated the full sum of £600, for a mural to be created in the Living Well Centre. Brightening up the space and creating a relaxing environment for patients, staff and visitors to enjoy, the painting was completed by local artist, Lucy Parris.

The painting, which depicts families enjoying special moments, took a full day to complete.

Commenting on the mural, Valerie Rogers, Fundraising Coordinator at John Taylor Hospice, said: “The painting has really brightened up the space – we are delighted with it. We are also extremely grateful to Easy Bathrooms for paying for it – it’s a very kind and generous donation, and we can’t thank them enough for thinking of us.”

Easy Bathrooms opened its Erdington store in 2018 and has supported the hospice ever since. Within the first month of being open, they donated 5% of profits to the cause.

Jon Bryant-Williams, the Showroom Manager, said: “It’s important to us that we focus on giving back to the local community – and we’re delighted to be able to support this amazing hospice in everything that they do.”
