The latest business to relocate its UK operations to Hartlebury Trading Estate is Chloros Environmental, which has has taken on a 45,000 sq ft unit at Worcestershire’s largest commercial estate.
The business, which was established 10 years ago, has outgrown its former Droitwich premises, and chosen to relocate its Head Office to the Estate, committing to a 10-year lease at Unit 145 and undertaking extensive refurbishment.
Rupert Jeffries of Collingwood Rigby, Asset Manager for the Estate, said: “Chloros is a great regional success story, having grown from a one- man operation in 2009 to a multi-site specialist firm in the past decade, and I’m delighted that it has chosen Hartlebury to site its new Head Office.
“The unit has been re-roofed and refurbished ahead of Chloros Environmental’s occupation, and the business has invested a significant sum into fitting out the unit.
“Increasingly we are finding that firms who have planted their roots in the area and grown to national operations are reluctant to relocate from Worcestershire, and it’s wonderful to see how many choose to site themselves here at the Estate, further demonstrating our capability to cater to a variety of needs and demands for a diverse range of occupiers. We wish the firm every success here at Hartlebury,” he said.
Charles D’Auncey of Harris Lamb, who oversaw the letting, said: “There is a well-documented shortage of high-quality commercial space within Worcestershire, but having formed here back in 2009, Chloros Environmental was very keen to remain in the region when the business outgrew its previous HQ on the Potterspace site in Cutnall Green.
“With its reputation state-of-the-art security, excellent security and business support, and a central UK location with excellent access links, and with just two remaining units at the park, Hartlebury was the ideal solution for the business, which has gone on to invest a significant amount in fitting Unit 145 out to meet its requirements,” he added.
