Enterprising move by Telford firm proves a winner

Telford-based IT specialist e-know.net is celebrating scooping a prestigious industry award. The managed services provider took top honours in the Enterprise Mobile Solution category at the recent 2013 Comms National Awards, fighting off stiff competition from the likes of Siemens and Excell Group.

The award recognised e-know.net’s work in partnership with leading IP phone system provider ShoreTel, specifically its project to deliver a fully managed VoIP and Unified Communications platform to major law firm Stephens Scown. As a result of the initiative, Stephens Scown is now saving an estimated 4.5 man days of time each month, whilst also improving productivity, cost-effectiveness, responsiveness and customer service.

Commenting on the achievement, Nigel Redwood, e-know.net’s managing director, said: “This event is one of the largest gatherings of IT and communications industry professionals in the UK so it was a very good night to be a winner. It was not just fabulous recognition for e-know.net as a company but a fantastic reward too for the hard-working team that made it happen.
