Scaling up its plans for summer, local musician group, Elegant Entertainment, is bringing a red-hot performance line-up to The Mailbox. The luxury entertainment specialists will co-host The Mailbox’s first ever musical festival, offering Brum residents a truly note-worthy musical extravaganza.

Since launching in 2012, Elegant Entertainment has hit all the right notes for the city and collaborating with the likes of Marco Pierre White’s Steakhouse, Malmaison, and Harvey Nichols. The latest partnership with the high-end shopping centre will see the group bring all its sax-appeal to the Mailbox Music Festival, showcasing the best of Brum’s talent with a total of twenty outdoor performances in Salvage Wharf.

With a stage set against the backdrop of Birmingham’s canals, the audience can take in the views, the sunshine, and the soulful classics. Whether it’s swaying to some moody blues tunes, shimmying to a vibrant brass number or getting down to the Boogie Woogie pianists – there will be something on the bill for everyone.

Commenting on the collaboration, David Pardoe, Head of Retail, Marketing and Tenant Engagement at The Mailbox, said: “I’m so excited for our summer partnership with Elegant Entertainment. We’ve been working with the group for half a decade, and it’s been a pleasure to see it go from strength to strength. Elegant Entertainment’s performances are always so fun and varied, and I think it will kick off summer in The Mailbox in the best way possible.”

The collaboration is more than a one-hit-wonder for Elegant Entertainment: the group has been in tune with The Mailbox for the last five years. The entertainers have brought harmony to every corner of The Mailbox; from the launches of Castle Fine Art and MADE.com, through to annual events like Taste The Mailbox and Birmingham Cocktail Weekend.

Chloe-Jean Grey, Director of Elegant Entertainment, says: “We’re delighted to be continuing our work with The Mailbox, giving a platform for our musicians to perform a wide and varied program. We’re pulling out all the stops: from toe-tapping Boogie Woogie pianists, soulful singers, energetic brass trios and acoustic artists galore – we’ve got it all!

“Since establishing in 2012, we have performed close to 5,000 sets and grown to boast over 40 artists on our songbooks. We’re so proud of how far we’ve come, and this summer-long collaboration with The Mailbox is the icing on the cake for us!”

The Mailbox Music Festival will be free to attend and runs from 23 July to 4 August. For more information, please visit: https://www.mailboxlife.com.
