Worcestershire based marketing agency Ecrubox Digital celebrated their first birthday this November. The start-up was established in 2017 by co-founders Heather and Sebastian Horton and since then have grown from strength to strength, now servicing clients throughout the UK and employing seven full-time staff members (as well as a handful of freelancers and subcontractors).
Starting off as a freelance sole trader, Heather created Ecrubox and began to grow an ever-expanding client list. With the company quickly gaining momentum, the office “HQ” was relocated to Deer Park Hall and Business Centre, just outside of Eckington, and began to welcome full-time staff members to the Ecrubox team.
When asked about the success of the company over the past year, Heather said “It’s been a bit of a whirlwind, but it’s all definitely been worth it and I’m so excited to see what’s in store for Ecrubox. I am really proud to reflect on the direction we’re going and what we’ve achieved in this first year.”
Successful business owner, mum of three children and MBA student, Heather was named the winner of Young Business Owner of the Year award, at the Wonderful Worcestershire Awards earlier this year. A true role model to young women in business.
Sebastian added, “To summarise our first year in business – we’ve built some fantastic relationships with our clients, hired some incredible talent and had many laughs along the way, we look forward to what year two has in store.”
Working as an extension of their client’s in-house teams, Ecrubox help their clients to grow and enhance their online presence by formulating strategic digital marketing solutions.
Over the next year, the company plans to expand their client list even further with many new and exciting prospects in the pipeline, alongside continuing to grow the number of full-time team members, in order to continue to deliver the best service to both new and existing clients.
