To add to this growing business the drpgroup have now successfully turned two of its apprenticeship / graduate roles into full time employment this year. Amy Poyner, digital production manager at the drpgroup is based in the midlands office and joined the company this year after completing her graduate scheme placement; she was also shortlisted at this year’s Wolverhampton Business Achievement awards. She explained about her journey through the scheme “from my first impression of drpgroup, when I came for my interview I knew what a great opportunity it would be and was thrilled just to be considered. The drpgroup create an atmosphere that really makes you care about what you do and I am proud to be a part of such an amazing and award winning company. The faith which the drpgroup put in new employees and in particular in their apprentices, has given me the confidence in myself and my abilities to strive for the best, and the motivation to continually improve my skills. I would definitely recommend any young people out there to grab the opportunities of apprenticeships schemes, as it really does help to develop you as a person and your career.”

Helene Turley, employer engagement manager at the Careers & Employment Centre said the following “ The Graduate Advantage Scheme supported by the University of Wolverhampton offers employers flexible access to a talented, motivated and ambitious workforce; and the chance to test, perhaps for the first time, the advantages of employing graduates. At the same time, it enables graduates to gain valuable skills and experience in preparation for long term employment. We are very pleased that drpdigitalmedia decided to use this service and have now found a permanent employee in Amy who is a recent graduate from the University of Wolverhampton.” The drpgroup hopes to be able to offer more places for the scheme and hopefully it will lead to the business adding even more talent to their ever growing team.
