Dedicated Accountancy and Finance division helps fill the employment skills gap

This month marks a one year anniversary of its dedicated Accountancy and Finance division for the employment specialists Brampton Recruitment.

Brampton Recruitment opened their specialist Accountancy and Finance division last year to support clients that were finding it difficult to attract skilled financial service professionals.

According to a survey nearly 9 in 10 (89%) of financial services executives surveyed globally they found it either ‘challenging’ or ‘very challenging’ to find skilled financial services professionals.

A survey also found that in the five years since the start of the economic downturn, accountancy has seen a net growth of about 19, 000 new roles between 2008 and 2012.  This equates to an 8.6% increase compared to a 0.15% decrease in employment across the country.

Finding and recruiting top talent for this sector has been a priority to address for Brampton Recruitment, since its dedicated Accountancy and Finance division was created one year ago, working together with employers across Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire, Cheshire and up to Greater Manchester.
