Cutting a deal at Pensnett Estate in the Midlands

A company has set up a warehouse base in the Black Company to distribute metal cutting equipment around the UK and Europe.

Cleveland Europe Ltd has taken a 5,822 sq ft unit on the Pensnett Estate at Kingswinford, which is owned and managed by London and Cambridge Properties (LCP).

The company is part of Greenfield Industries in the USA and distributes high quality Cleveland brand, high-speed steel drills, taps, reamers and associated equipment.

Project Director Dave Foster said:”Three people are currently employed at the site and we are looking to increase our sales by recruiting a sales person in the UK and mainland Europe. As the business prospers and grows we would look to create more job opportunities.

“I have dealt with LCP before on the Pensnett Estate and decided that this was the best location as it was convenient and has the necessary road links that we need as a distribution business.”

Pensnett has a range of industrial units available for rent from 383 sq ft to 72,390 sq ft.

Estate owner LCP is based there and is one of the UK’s largest private owners of industrial and retail property. Its total commercial property portfolio runs to 14 million sq ft which is held for long term investment purposes.
