Coventry shopping centre completes major car park renovation

Coventry shopping centre, Lower Precinct has undergone a major car park investment renovation in a bid to maintain their reputation as the safest in-city parking spot.

Lower Precinct has welcomed the completion and opening of Level 5 of the award-winning car-park after a six week project to install the brand new Triflex system. As well as water-proofing the entire rooftop, the Triflex system has allowed the Coventry shopping centre to reline their existing pathways to increase visibility and therefore reducing the risk of accidents making the entire area safer as a whole.

The level 5 renovation has contributed to the centre winning The Park Mark® Safer Parking Award for the second year running. The Park Mark® Safer Parking Award is given to parking facilities that have achieved the requirements of a risk assessment conducted by the Police and the British Parking Association.

Speaking about the renovation and the award win, Centre Manager, Nicola Cormell comments:

“It is really important to us to maintain our reputation as a safe parking area in the city. The installation of the Triflex system has enabled us to give Level 5 of the car-park a well-earned revamp whilst continuing to allow us to provide secure parking for our customers.”

Lower Precinct’s award-winning car park is open 7am – 7pm Monday through to Saturday and 9.30am – 5.30pm on Sundays. More information, including the car park opening times as well as parking rates can be found at www.lowerprecinct.com.
