Coombe Abbey Hotel has been handpicked for its quality service and standards by recommendation website Three Best Rated.
The Brinklow-based former monastery is now given the seal of approval as one for the best in the area and endorsed as a place to stay for visitors.
The website, which can be found at www.threebestrated.co.uk, carries out a 50-point inspection which includes everything from checking reputation, history, complaints, reviews, satisfaction, trust and cost to the general excellence.
It then selects a trio of businesses in a number of sectors as its recommendations for the top three in the area.
The recognition comes hot on the heels of Coombe Abbey being highly commended in the Best Independent Venue category in the CHS Awards.
The venue has also scooped Gold in the Best UK Unusual Venue category, Gold in the Best Value for Money Conference Venue section and a Silver for Best Conferencing and Banqueting Staff in the M&IT Awards earlier this year.
Ron Terry, general manager at the 12th Century manor house, said this listing was a testament to the hard work and dedication of the whole team.
“All of the staff work extremely hard to maintain the high standards that we are known for,” said Ron.
“So, to be recommended as one of the top three venues to stay in the whole area is a fantastic achievement for everyone involved.
“I would like to thank Three Best Rated for assessing and subsequently listing us on the website for visitors to find out more details about the hotel.
“But it is not just our service and standards that we are known for, but also our mixture of highly-regarded events such as our afternoon tea, Medieval Banquets, Murder Mystery nights and much more.
“We will endeavour to keep working hard to make sure that we stay one of the top rated hotels in the area.”
