A historic Warwickshire hotel has been named as one of the best places in the country to enjoy an evening of crime-fighting.
Coombe Abbey Hotel has been selected as one of the nation’s leading venues where guests can become super sleuths.
Experts at The Telegraph have compiled a list of the best murder mystery nights in the UK and the Brinklow-based venue is one of just ten to be mentioned in the rundown.
Coombe Abbey is featured on the list along with the likes of Cave Castle Hotel and Country Club in Yorkshire, Burgh Island Hotel in Devon, The Nare in Cornwall, Lewtrenchard Manor in Devon and more.
The venue’s inclusion is made even better as it is the only venue from the Warwickshire area to be featured on the prestigious list.
Ron Terry, general manager of the 12th century manor house, is thrilled with the hotel’s inclusion on the list.
“This is the second time that we have been featured on one of The Telegraph’s lists this year and we are extremely pleased,” said Ron.
“We were named as one of the top 30 venues around the country for its afternoon tea, so to be mentioned again is a huge honour.
“At Coombe Abbey, we strive to make our murder mystery nights entertaining, fun and full of mystery and our team work hard to make them memorable nights for everyone who comes along.
“To be the only Warwickshire venue on the countdown is absolutely fantastic and testament to the dedication of everyone involved.”
The murder mystery nights take place every month and bookings are already being taken for 2018. The night takes place in the Abbeygate and includes a three course meal and a post-show disco for guests to enjoy.
