Competitive spirit drives ‘Corporate Challenge’ campaign

Primrose Hospice are looking for local businesses to take on the ‘Corporate Challenge’ which will see businesses from around the local area competing in a bid to raise the most money for Primrose Hospice from 1st July – 18th September 2019.

This campaign is being held to encourage competition and networking between local companies, and to promote fundraising for Primrose Hospice.

A launch event will be held on 1st July 2019 inviting all companies to meet their competitors, take part in a media call and receive a £50 starter grant. They will then have 80 days to turn that £50 into a much larger fundraised total. Every two weeks throughout the campaign, a leader-board will be released sharing who is in the lead for this competition!

Businesses will be competing not only to raise funds for this worthy cause, but also to win one of our esteemed awards, judged externally and announced at our prestigious Primrose Ball. On Friday 27th September 2019, we are hosting our third annual Ball at the Chateau Impney Hotel, where we will be entertaining up to 500 guests with a night of great food and amazing entertainment. We will be presenting our 5 awards at this event, so this is a fantastic opportunity for businesses to share their commitment to your local hospice in front of hundreds of Primrose Hospice supporters.

Awards on offer will include ‘Best use of events’, ‘Best use of social media’ and ‘Corporate Challenge Champion’.

Hogarth’s Stone Manor Hotel were the first business to sign up to the challenge. Sam Adkins, senior sales executive said: “It’s great to be the first to sign up for the challenge, the Hogarths team are really excited to be taking part in this and raise some funds for this amazing local charity.”

Primrose Hospice supports the patients and families of North East Worcestershire living with life-limiting illnesses by offering a range of services. They rely on donations to continue to offer this support.
