Leading managing general agent (MGA) Commercial Express has reported record profits following its latest company audit.
For the period ending 31 December 2015, the business has produced a profit return of £2.23m before tax.
Now in its 18th year of operation, Commercial Express, which is based in the West Midlands, has successfully built the majority of its business organically, growing on average by 15 per cent income year on year, and is showing no signs of slowing down.
Having recently launched the second phase of its unique Training Academy, which offers free industry training to brokers and has already proven to improve brokers’ business practises and profits, Commercial Express also has ambitious plans to extend its services. In spring 2017 the business will launch its brand new online system, including sophisticated online training tools.
Duncan Pritchard, Managing Director of Commercial Express, said: “We are delighted with our strong performance and also our excellent performance away from the balance sheet, such as being awarded the Investors in People ‘gold’ standard. Our business model proves to be flexible and take advantage of market forces. It centres around the ability to create organic growth rather than acquisition.”
“Our main aim is to become MGA of the Year and we are well on the way to achieving that.”
