Barclays has announced the expansion of its Midlands corporate banking team with two new senior appointments.
Keith Webb, who joins Barclays from Santander, will head the large corporate team whilst Graham Nicoll, who was previously with Barclays Wealth, will head the mid market teams across the Midlands.
Both bring a wealth of varied experience which will be invaluable to Barclays clients.
Commenting on his appointment, Keith said ‘I am pleased to have joined Barclays having admired their client-focussed approach to banking. I have worked in the Midlands for most of my career and I am therefore keen to bring this experience and local knowledge to the fore to support both our existing and new clients”.
Graham Nicoll said: “Being offered the opportunity to lead the teams in this area is a real privilege. It’s my home region and therefore an area I know well and have a close affinity with. My objective is to ensure we are serving our clients well and to grow Barclays’ competitive position by increasing commercial activity at a time of increased opportunity”.
Commenting on these appointments, Ray O’Donoghue, Managing Director for Barclays in the Midlands said: “Keith and Graham’s appointments will bring an added dimension to our business across the region and greatly enhance our customer proposition. I look forward to working with them both”.
