Jim Travers, of Hednesford, joins the Chasetown-based house builders in the new role of management accountant.
With 20 years’ experience in this field, he started his career as a credit controller then progressed through the ranks, gaining experience in various industries, including the automotive, construction, oil and gas, service and telecommunications sectors.
In his new position he will initially be responsible for helping to introduce a major new software system at Cameron and then will be producing detailed business reports and margin analysis.
He is joined in the financial team by Margaret Durney of Tettenhall who becomes accounts manager, overseeing cost accounting and assisting the firm’s finance director where required.
She has been in accounts for 46 years, in various industries, and has travelled to Paris, Milan, Barcelona and Madrid trouble shooting on financial issues.
In her last role she worked for Amey (AOL) Ltd in partnership with Staffordshire County Council where she was nominated by the Amey Academy to undertake a certificate in leadership and management course.
