Hereford-based joinery firm chooses brand new Mini Clubvan as launch pad for new corporate identity.

Oak Leaf Gates’ managing director Richard Eccleston unveiled his company’s brand new corporate identity to the public for the very first time when he collected the keys to his company’s new sales vehicle – a 2013 Mini Clubvan.

As a loyal Mini customer, the 2013 Clubvan is Richard’s fifth Mini purchased from his local dealer, Cotswold Mini. The grand unveiling of the new Oak Leaf Gates brand, which was revealed for the first time on the fully sign written vehicle, also coincided with the opening of the dealership’s new showroom on Legion Way on Saturday 16th March. The Clubvan was also the first vehicle to be handed over to its new owner after the opening.

Specialist joiners, Oak Leaf Gates, based in Bartestree just outside Hereford invested in a new brand identity to pay homage to the quality and provenance of its traditional oak product and to support the ongoing growth of the company.

“Our products are British built by experienced craftsmen. The branding evokes recognition of the source material and the integrity of the natural products through the use of a green palette, mixing tradition with modernity,” explained Mr Eccleston.

Following its recent unveiling, the brand will now be rolled out across the company’s website, social media platforms and collateral as well as at a number of high profile events that Oak Leaf Gates exhibits at.

Oak Leaf Gates’ recent growth has also led to the recruitment of a new 3D CAD designer who will support the expanding sales and design departments. The sales team will utilise the new Mini Clubvan to visit clients with a full range of samples and scale models of the gates.

“I am delighted to present Richard Eccleston of Oak Leaf Gates with the keys to his brand new Mini Clubvan. The Mini will enable the company’s growing team to service their customers, while reinforcing their brand values; quality design and presentation. We also identify with these values so the allegiance is a great brand fit!” said Steve Liddle, dealer principal at Cotswold Mini, Hereford.
