Morley Hayes showcases its refurbishment programme at conferencing open day

Derbyshire hotel, conferencing and golf complex, Morley Hayes is opening its doors to the local business community on Thursday 12 May to showcase its newly refurbished conferencing and events facilities.

The complex, on Main Road in Morley, is hosting a special open day to give businesses the opportunity to look around its extensive facilities, including the De Ferrers and Sacheverell suites, which have recently been the subject of a £400,000 refurbishment.

The two suites have been completely transformed – improvements include a new entrance, new conference lighting and ergonomically designed chairs, along with luxurious décor and soft furnishings.

Throughout the day, visitors will be invited to sample a selection of the food available to corporate guests. Pastries and croissants will be served at 10.00am, followed by a fork buffet luncheon from 12.00pm – 2.30pm, traditional afternoon tea from 3.00pm to 5.00pm and a fork buffet dinner from 5.30pm – 7.30pm.

Commenting on the event, events manager Sarah Gadsby, said:

“We are delighted to welcome representatives from the local business community to our open day on 12 May. Our dedicated events team will be in attendance throughout the event to show guests around our various facilities and to answer any questions they may have.

“We pride ourselves on providing our guests with the best possible experience and our recent investment in the refurbishment of our De Ferrers and Sacheverell suites is set to reinforce our reputation as one of the most popular function venues in Derbyshire,” added Sarah.

Morley Hayes is the ideal venue for a company conference, a team-building event, or corporate function and can cater for everything from 1 to 90 delegates. It also boasts a four star, 32 room hotel, two golf courses and a choice of three restaurants.
