A growing print company in Nottingham has relocated to larger premises in a deal done by NG Chartered Surveyors.
Prosign Print and Display has signed a five year lease on a 3,042 sq ft unit at Moorgreen Industrial Estate – nearly twice the size of its previous property in Radford.
The company uses state of the art printing technology to make anything from posters to product packaging and has grown substantially over the last two years thanks to a series of lucrative contracts with high profile retailers.
Henry Henson of NG Chartered Surveyors said: “It’s great news that Prosign is doing so well and I’m pleased that we’ve been able to find a property that meets its requirements.
“We secured this deal before the property was even put on the market, which is a great result. Prosign had been struggling to find a suitable property so when they got in touch with us we were able to offer the unit at Coombe Road at the Moorgreen estate straight away as it had just become available.”
As well as printing its own materials, Prosign offers a printing consultancy and supply service to other printers across the country – an extra income for the company that has helped spur its success.
Prosign will use the main warehouse for its production work and an office. The unit also has a 721 sq ft mezzanine, which will be used as a showroom for the products it recommends and supplies as part of its growing consultancy work.
Steve Hardy, founder and managing director of Prosign, said: “I set up the business five years ago, offering basic printing solutions mostly to local companies. The business has grown steadily from these humble beginnings, and today we are a modern printing company that offers a range of services to national brands.
“Our success has largely come from the retail sector. We developed a strong reputation in this area thanks to the product packaging and display services we developed, and our consultancy arm has helped us further diversify and grow our business.
“We needed a bigger property and I’m really pleased with what NG found for us – and so quickly too. Lots of the industrial units we had seen just weren’t up to scratch, but the Moorgreen Industrial Estate offers top quality serviced space with great links to junctions 26 and 27 of the M1 and good security.”
Moorgreen Industrial Estate has proved popular with local businesses and interest in the remaining units – ranging from 1,000 to 10,000 sq ft – remains high. With further deals in the pipeline, NG is aiming for an overall 100 per cent occupancy of the entire Moorgreen estate this spring.
