Midlands-based Energetics has won a £1million contract to design, build and connect the electricity, gas and water utility mains and service connections for a landmark new residential development at Tansey Green in the West Midlands, on behalf of Taylor Wimpey.

An independent company which owns and operates more than 1,200 utility networks across the UK, Energetics has been appointed to provide the energy infrastructure and multi-utility connections to over 300 new homes. The connections specialist will also design and build one new substation and one gas governor in order to support the utility requirements of phase two of the development. The three year project will be serviced from Energetics Midlands depot in Coleshill with work set to start this summer.

Energetics provides an end-to-end utility service for residential, industrial and commercial developments, spanning both the public and private sectors. Headquartered in Glasgow, Energetics also has an office/depot in Warrington enabling it to serve and deliver across many parts of the UK.
