Two of the country’s top economists will share their predictions for business at an Institute of Directors (IoD) East Midlands event this month.
Graeme Leach, the IoD’s Chief Economist and Director of Policy and visiting professor of economic policy at the University of Lincoln and David Page, Senior UK Economist for Lloyds Banking Group, will be sharing their views on the current UK economy, including thoughts on the impacts for business for the remainder of 2012 and beyond.
The meeting will be held at the Nottingham Conference Centre, Newton Building Nottingham as part of the IoD’s regional networking lunch on Thursday 16 August.
Ron Lynch, IoD East Midlands Regional Director, said:”Never before in economic history have the opportunities and threats to business been so great. Companies need resilience and good economic advice to bolster their entrepreneurial skills. A similar event last year sold out so we know how useful these practical sessions are.”
The event, supported by The Phoenix Partners, Lloyds Bank Corporate Markets and Lloyds TSB Commercial, will also provide the opportunity for attendees to address individual business needs.
Bookings can be made via www.iod.com/eastmidlands or by telephoning the IoD East Midlands office at 0115 848 6191.
