A Walsall-based organisation that has been helping communities across the UK to have a say on everything from new housing developments to road safety for 25 years, is launching a new website.
Planning for Real®, based at the Innovation Works @ Rubery Owen in Darlaston, have created the website www.planningforreal.org.uk to make it easier for local people, councils and others organisations to find out about Planning for Real and get in touch.
The new website, which will go live on Wednesday (23 May) also features links to Facebook and Twitter so that visitors can read all the latest news about Planning for Real® at the touch of a button.
It also includes examples of the kind of projects in which Planning for Real® are involved, such as engaging with communities on pre-planning applications and transport improvement projects, all done using a range of unique tools including interactive 3D models.
Sian Every, Policy and Communications Officer at Planning for Real®, said: “We are delighted to launch our new website and our Facebook and Twitter pages.
“We work with communities across the country to support them to have a real say about what happens in their neighbourhoods and we believe that our new website will make this even easier and more accessible.”
Planning for Real®, which is part of the Accord Group, helps communities design and run programmes of community engagement on a range of topics, from new housing to the provision of services.
