Dukes Bailiffs is continuing to support its chosen charity with
a series of fundraising activities during 2011.
Staff at its Stone-based headquarters hold Mufti days at the end
of every month with the money raised throughout the year going to
the Born Free Foundation, an international wildlife charity that
Dukes has championed for some time.
The Mufti days are only one element of support that Dukes gives
to the Born Free Foundation. In October, Dukes adopted Shada, Achee
and Ma Juah, three lionesses, and Sinbad, a young lion, living in
Born Free's Big Cat Sanctuary at the award winning Shamwari
Wildlife Reserve, raising money from selling BFF mugs from its
stand at the IRRV Annual Conference in Telford.
Managing Director Colin Naylor is delighted his team are
supporting the charity, saying "Dukes has been associated with the
lion, as seen on our logo, since the company was first established
some 18 years ago and it seemed appropriate to concentrate our
charitable efforts on saving these wonderful creatures and raising
awareness of their plight at the same time".
